Being a donor is a very noble mission and great responsibility at the same time, because a person's life is at stake. But in order to help another person, the donor needs to match certain parameters as their body will invariably be affected. They also need to know what to expect after donating the organ and how they will be recovering.

Each country has its own conditions for becoming a donor. For instance, in the USA, such a person shouldn't be younger than 18 years old, while in China, you can't be a donor if you weigh less than 99 lbs. This is the target of 11-year-old Lu Zikuan as he wants to become a donor for his father, who needs a bone marrow transplant.

The boy's noble deed is admirable as it reflects his love for his father and the desire to save him, even if he has to face challenges.
