Fairly recently an incident took place on popular talent show, America's Got Talent. Trapeze artists Mary Wolfe and Tyce Nielsen were performing high-flying stunts.

During the performance of the most spectacular part of the trick, the man, who blindfolded himself prior to this, was supposed to grasp his wife's legs but failed. This resulted in her falling onto the stage where a fire was lit for greater flamboyancy.

The judges gasped in awe and froze in their seats as did the audience, members of which included the couple's 2-year-old son and his granny.

Fortunately, despite falling from a significant height, Mary got off easy with just a couple of bruises. Just a few moments later the artist was ready to repeat the trick, however, the judges spoke against it.
