With the advent of modern technologies, our life has drastically changed. However, if high tech gadgets used to be only open for adults, now every child knows how to use a computer or a tablet. Moreover, we often encourage our children to use gadgets. But why? Parents want to distract children to prevent them from boredom or just entertain them while doing their business. However, few people think about the real consequences.

Danger of modern gadgets
We have repeatedly raised the topic of the smartphones’ impact on a child’s physical and mental health. Today, we want to remind you of the possible consequences:
- blurred vision;
- speech delay;
- attention deficit disorder;
- learning problems;
- negative impact on character.
A smart trick that parents from Silicon Valley do
While you are using gadgets as a child-minder or parent, employees of Google, Apple, Yahoo, Hewlett-Packard, and other companies that work with computers send their children to school without modern technologies. This educational institution without computers is called Waldorf of the Peninsula. It doesn’t have any screens! Moreover, these kids are discouraged from using gadgets at home.
This is one of the schools that teaches children through creative and practical tasks. Physical development is also extremely important. People who choose such education say that computers deteriorate creative thinking, human interaction, movement, concentration levels, and attention span.
At the same time, parents who believe that children must develop in the field of IT completely disagree with them. Their opponents claim that there is no need to hurry with the computer because children will be able to master all the necessary technologies when they get older. There is nothing complicated about it.
What about you? What do you think about using technologies at an early age? Should children be limited? Share your opinions in the comments!
