Question 1: Will you take candy from a stranger?

Correct answer: It is necessary to refuse and leave as soon as possible.

If a person needs help for real, they will ask other adults or the police about this.

Question 3: Will you visit a friend you just met?

Correct answer: It is prohibited to go with strangers. This applies not only to adults but also to the children of the same age.

The children can always refuse, inventing a story where they are waiting for parents who are about to come.

Question 4: You noticed that you are being pursued. What will you do?

Correct answer: The safest way out will be going to a supermarket, pharmacy or another public place where you can immediately call your parents.

Question 5: What will you do if you get surrounded by dogs?

Correct answer: You need to remain calm and avoid looking into animals’ eyes. Otherwise, you can provoke an attack.

You can distract the dogs’ attention with anything, gently throwing the object aside, and then gradually moving away from the dogs, not turning your back to the animals.

Question 6: What will you do if you find yourself in a large crowd of people?

Correct answer: You need to start moving to the edge gradually.

You shouldn’t move against the crowd! If you notice someone you know, you may ask to be put on the shoulders.

Question 7: What will you do if a stranger grabs you and doesn’t let go?

Correct answer: Try to attract people’s attention with all the possible means! You can scream and fight, bite, break out and howl. This is one of those situations when you absolutely don’t have to be an obedient child! Shouting “this is not my father/mother,” will help others think the child is being kidnapped.

Be sure to discuss these safety issues with your child! Also, take care of your kids and let their phone be always charged.

Try acting out the behavior in unusual situations and explain they need to protect themselves in all the possible ways. Share this useful information with other parents. Maybe, it can save someone’s life!
