Mom Posted A Photo Of Her Little Girl With A Piercing In Her Cheek. It Turned Out She Had A Good Purpose!

Enedina Vance once posted a lovely photo of her 6-month-old daughter on Facebook. It might seem like an ordinary thing, but the Internet reaction to that image was really stormy. This is because the picture featured a smiling baby with a piercing on her dimple. Outraged social network users blamed mom for severe child abuse. Some even wished her dead. It turned out that the woman had good intentions.

Here is what a tricky post she made:

So I got the baby girl's dimple pierced!!

It looks so cute, right?!! I just know she's gonna love it!! She'll thank me when she's older lol If she decides she doesn't like it, she can just take it out, no big deal

I'm the parent, she is MY CHILD, I will do whatever I want!! I make all of her decisions until she's 18, I made her, I own her!! I don't need anyone's permission, I think it's better, cuter, & I prefer her to have her dimple pierced. Its NOT abuse!! If it was, it would be illegal, but it's not. People pierce their babies everyday, this is no different.

MY BABY, MY CHOICE!! PARENT'S CHOICE, PARENT'S RIGHTS!! Don't judge my parenting, we all raise our kids differently, it's none of your business anyway!!

After a month of merciless criticism, Enedina Vance decided to shed light on what happened.

As it turned out, the mother didn’t get her little daughter pierced. After she said that, only 3 out of 1,000 people apologized to her. The woman did this to draw attention to the problem of male circumcision.

We must open our eyes and clear our hearts to recognize the fact that our children are people with rights that deserve respect and protection. No one has the right to change or cripple the body of another person for aesthetic purposes.

Enedina calls for an end of the inhumane procedure due to painful shock boys experience. She and other human rights defenders suggest that the removal of any part of the body should occur only in agreement with the patient. Not all children can consciously agree to it. Accordingly, the circumcision isn’t humane.

These are the emotions that children experience during this procedure. They are scared!

Another one.

She has many similar photos on her account.

Enedina chose a rather unusual way to draw attention to the problem of circumcision. Do you support her? Share your opinion in the comments!
