Skills of a spy could come in handy to many of us in real life. Being able to figure out what a person is hiding by throwing just a quick glance at them is just a dream! Today we are bringing you a few simple riddles, but careful, there is a catch in each of them.

1. Try to turn on your Sherlock Holmes mode and look at the picture below

Which one of the people in the picture is lying and who's telling the truth? The man or the woman?

Don't rush with your answer, study the picture carefully.

Perhaps someone is giving away their true thoughts with facial expressions or gestures?

It's as clear as day! Look at the corner of the picture where someone is hiding in the closet – it must be the notorious lover who didn't manage to escape and was caught by surprise. Of course, the woman is the liar here.

You must agree that the riddle turned out to be quite easy.

2. Solve a simple riddle for middle school kids

What always runs, but never walks,

often murmurs, but never talks,

has a bed, but never sleeps,

has a mouth, but never eats?

Here's a clue so that you don't have to Google the answer: you can find it in almost every country in the world.

The answer: It's a river!

The answer is simple: there's no riddle!

There's a full stop at the end of the sentence instead of a question mark. The cat's name is What.

Write in the comments which riddle was the hardest to solve!
