Canadian Sells A Luxurious 3-Story Mansion For An Essay. Beyond Belief!

Would you like to move to Canada? There is a lakefront estate just for you. And you can totally afford it! It’ll cost you $20 and a small essay. And this is neither a hoax nor a lottery, according to Alla Wagner, the current owner of the mansion. All the details, including the reason for this decision, are on her Facebook page.
Alla and her family had a dream of moving out of the city. After visiting their friends in the country they started appreciating the beauty of the fresh air, picturesque views, and sense of freedom.
In 2011, they had a three-story “house of their dreams” custom-built at a lake. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a wine cellar, and other amenities for a comfortable life. A gorgeous panoramic view is an extra bonus.
However, last year, the house owner’s had encountered serious health problems and was restricted to using only one floor. Then she decided to move. Real estate agents estimated the mansion at $1.3 million.
Although the price is very reasonable for such a luxury house, after several months, still no one bought it. Then Alla decided to use a different approach. She launched the contest "Write a Letter, Win a House."
Applicants are required to write a small essay answering the question:
Why would moving to this lakefront dream home change your life?
Contestants are required to send 25 CAD (19 USD) along with the letter, then wait for the results in April.
If the total amount collected is less than $1.3 million (the value of the house), Alla can cancel the contest and return the money back to participants or move the deadline until it collects the required amount. Of all the submitted essays, she will personally select 500 best works. The winner will be determined in a personal interview with 3 finalists.
Are you ready to take part in the contest? What a tempting offer! What if you get lucky? Let us know when you have a housewarming party!
