Insane Idea Or Brilliant Beauty Trick? Woman Hasn’t Smiled For 40 Years To Avoid Wrinkles

Date March 18, 2019

Women usually spend a lot of effort and money in the fight against annoying wrinkles. While many do cosmetic procedures or plastic surgeries, the heroine of today’s story has resorted to her own way of solving the problem.

50-year-old Tess Christian from the UK claims she hasn’t smiled or laughed for the last 40 years. This is how the woman tries to keep her youth.

Her logic is simple: the less you smile, the fewer facial wrinkles you have.

You are probably wondering: why was a 10-year-old girl worried about fighting the signs of aging? Well, it all started for another reason.

Tess acquired a strange habit in Catholic school, where the strict nuns constantly told the children to "wipe the smile off your face."

By the time Christian reached adulthood, it had become part of her life. The girl was inspired by Hollywood stars such as Marlene Dietrich, who also smiled rarely.

Tess still has an excellent sense of humor. Her decision not to smile is conscious. The woman calls her impenetrable facial expression the secret of preserving her youth.

I don’t have wrinkles because I have trained myself to control my facial muscles. Everyone asks if I’ve had Botox, but I haven’t, and I know that it’s thanks to the fact I haven’t laughed or smiled since I was a teenager. My dedication has paid off, I don’t have a single line on my face.

According to the woman, her “beauty life-hack” is more effective than any anti-aging cream.
