“Pansexual”: Plus-Size Model Tess Holliday Shares Aspects Of Her Orientation

Date July 15, 2019 16:57

The owner of voluptuous forms and one of the most famous plus-size models, Tess Holliday, is a true inspiration for many women and a role model to take after. This young beauty eliminates all stereotypes and proves that the shape of the body or number of pounds doesn’t determine how beautiful you are.

Tess doesn’t cease to be photographed in swimsuits and revealing outfits, appears on catwalks, and candidly shares her thoughts on any issue. In 2019, she became the heroine of the July edition of the Nylon publication and spoke about her romantic passions.

The girl grew up in a small town where sexual education wasn’t a common thing, and the level of teenage pregnancies was very high. Tess’ mom was handicapped, and the family lived in a trailer that children from more affluent families found very funny. Tess dealt with their criticism with the help of high-calorie food. She also became a mother quite early when she was only 20, but this didn’t stop her from sending her photos to model agencies over and over again.

Everything she now knows about the romantic relationships between people she received by her own experience, overcoming many mistakes. This allowed the girl to identify herself more accurately: Tess admitted she was pansexual – she could have a romantic attraction to any person, regardless of gender identification.

Don’t confuse this concept with other well-known manifestations of sexuality. Pansexuals find not a particular gender attractive, but everyone, including transgender people. At the same time, they “don’t see” who is in front of them as a man or a woman. They are rather attracted to a personality.

Tess noted that awareness of her pansexuality allowed her to become even more open in relationships with others because she no longer had to pretend to be someone she wasn’t. Such people fall in love with a holistic image, considering the person’s energy. Moreover, they include feelings and sensations in the concept of gender, rather than social norms and boundaries.

But this doesn’t mean that pansexuals are unsure of their connections. Tess met her husband in 2012. The couple communicated for 7 months on the web before businessman Nick Holliday flew from Australia to the USA for a personal meeting. In 2014, the young couple got engaged, and in 2015, married. A year later, Tess gave birth to her second son. The model also noted that after the baby was born, she soon became pregnant again, but didn’t want to become a mother for the third time.

She isn’t ashamed of her decision, as she is sure that, like anyone else, she has the right to choose.

Tess isn't ashamed of what and who she really is. Neither her luxurious forms nor the awareness of its emancipation has made her change in favor of stereotypes. Well, so many of us could learn from her and her lifestyle. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments.
