How to grow a date palm tree from a seed
- For planting, take dried or air dried dates and remove the pulp. Gardeners advise to take the seeds of the Robelen’s date - a short palm tree growing in several trunks. Then rinse them and soak in water for several days. Change the water every 8-10 hours.
- Take a pot with holes in the bottom, first put the pebble in it for drainage. Then add a substrate from a mixture of peat and sand.
- Sow the seeds half an inch in a moist soil. Put the pot in a warm place. When the first leaves appear, wipe them with a damp cotton pad.
- When the sprouts grow up to 15 centimeters, plant them in separate pots with soil containing peat, sand, vegetable soil, and humus.
