What gives coffee a special aroma is addition of spices such as cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon. You can choose one or blend several of them to your taste. Add them to the ground coffee, so as to open up their scent on low heat. Some people like to add ground cinnamon to the ready drink. It could work as an alternative.
Gourmets advise adding a couple of grains of salt to the coffee to soften the taste.
For the ground beans to better release their aroma, first give them a little roast in a coffee pot without any water.
While making coffee, it is recommended to bring it to boil, until the foam forms. Take the coffee pot off the cooker, remove the foam and put it back on the stove. It is recommended to repeat this procedure three times so that the taste of coffee becomes more intense.
If you take your coffee with sugar, its flavor can be enhanced with the following trick: mix 1/2 tsp of cane sugar with ground beans and warm the mix up on low heat. With no water! Add it only after you see that sugar starts dissolving and caramelizing. Now you can proceed as described above. The taste must be superb!
There is one trick that will help you cool down coffee without spoiling its taste with ordinary ice. Make a few cups of coffee of desired strength and sweetness, cool and pour it into the ice mold. Then you can add the ready-made coffee cubes to cool down the invigorating drink without compromising its taste.
