1. Tea bags

Fix the broken nail closer to the tip of the finger and gently serve it with a nail file, avoiding the very place of the break. Cut the tea bag to the size of the patch. Cover the nail with clear varnish and carefully place the tea patch on the crack. Apply another layer of varnish for fixing. Wait for the varnish to dry and polish the edges.

2. Nail glue

You will need the glue that is used to fix the overlay plates. Squeeze a drop of glue from the tube and spread it with a toothpick. Hold down the broken part for a minute. Remove the remaining glue by dipping a cotton swab in nail polish remover.

3. Sticky tape

This method will allow to isolate the crack for some time. Gently place the sticky tape along the length of the nail and carefully trim the excess.

4. Glue and acrylic powder

Apply a thin layer of glue on both sides and dip the crack in acrylic powder. Wait for the glue to dry and polish the edges.

5. False nails

If you have a package with false nails lying around, feel free to use it. First, gently wash your hands and degrease your nails with nail polish remover. Apply a thin layer of glue and use the false nails, pressing for a minute each. Use scissors to remove the excess material.
