Tia Vargas rescued a dog

The woman decided to help the poor creature. At first, she was going to meet her dad, who was waiting for her a mile down.

The collar read the dog’s name was Boomer. Tia placed him on her shoulders and, carrying the 55-pound load, she made it to her dad and surprised him with the unexpected friend. Tia told People:

He laughed and said, ‘You don’t think this hike is hard enough without carrying a heavy dog, too?

It was not the end of the road, though. The weather got too bad, making the hikers struggle with every step. They had to go through the snow, sliding down the snowy slopes with the hound in tow, then they caught heavy rain and even lost their way twice. Their journey was full of unpleasant surprises, but they didn't leave the dog.

There was a moment when the mother could not keep walking anymore, as her muscles were sore and she was extremely exhausted.

But they made it to a safe place after 6 miles of the rough terrain. The pup was treated from a dislocated foot and torn ligaments. What a wonderful rescue! Boomer was so lucky to meet the kind woman on his way.

The woman was blessed with a loyal companion as well. After she found the dog’s owners, they said that Boomer had fallen off the 100-feet high hill and had got lost after all. Tia said:

I feel like there’s a reason why I was on the mountain at the very moment that he needed somebody to help. Both of us had a guardian angel that day.

The pet’s owners had a plan to sell him, however, everything changed after the incident. They told Tia he was hers if she wanted. It felt like fate. Today Boomer has a new mother and they are so happy together.
