Baby bears in a dumpster: a rescue mission

Feeling helpless for her babies, the mama bear cried all night hoping to get the attention of a good Samaritan. Luckily, her tears caught the attention of a kind-hearted family in the neighborhood, Shirley and Tom Schenk.

The couple heard the cries of the mama bear and came to baby bears rescue. They brought along a ladder and their truck.

While Tom drove and backed-up the truck, Shirley lowered the ladder so that the baby bears could climb out. The little cubs successfully came out and followed their mum back to their home.

She added:

"I was not scared. I had my husband driving, and I knew we'd drop it and go. … I would have never done that on foot."

Luckily, baby bears were rescued from the dumpster. We all should try to offer a helping hand to any poor creature we see in distress. However, remember wild aminals can be very dangerous.
