Jason Momoa Confesses That From The Age Of 8, He Knew That His Wife, Lisa Bonet, Was The Love Of His Life
Everybody loves Jason Momoa. The 38-year-old actor is know worldwide for his role, playing Khal Drogo, in HBO series, ‘Game of Thrones’. At first, people hated him, but he gradually won over viewers. Although his character died at the end of season one, he is still remembered as one of the series' most beloved characters.
In real life, Momoa is very fun, a good friend, funny, and adorable. Emilia Clarke, his partner in the series, is one of his best friends.
He also gets along well with his colleague, Kristofer Hivju, with whom he never acted during the show, but who he gets along very well with.
And outside of the Game of Thrones world, the Hawaiian has shown that he really does have a beautiful life. He is married to 49-year-old actress, Lisa Bonet, they have two daughters and a beautiful family.
Just a few months ago, they made their marriage official, despite the fact that they've already been together for many years.
During the Late Late show with James Corden, Momoa made an adorable confession:
We finally got married. Ever since I was 8 years old and I saw her on the Cosby Show, I told my mom: Mom, I want to marry her.
Lisa Bonet was 19 at the time and Momoa never imagined that dream would come true.
I thought: I'll stalk her for the rest of my life. I have to get to her. I didn't tell her that until our second daughter was born. Otherwise it would have been weird.
One night I went out with some friends and I saw her. All of a sudden she saw me too and she introduced herself: Hi, I'm Lisa. I turned to my friends and silently screamed inside. I could see fireworks.
Momoa was living in a hotel at the time and had no car, so she gave him a ride and they ended up sharing a few drinks at Café 101.
This love at first sight isn't just very romantic because of the story itself, but because Momoa admired Lisa ever since he was a boy. Today they live under the same roof and have two daughters together. It's like a fairy tale love story and proof that dreams can come true.
Here we leave you with the video of his sweet declarations of love.
