Our planet is full of intelligent animals, and there are many of them that most people aren't aware of. In fact, there is even a species that possesses extraordinary mental abilities and a brain almost as complex as ours. Can you guess what animal it is?

A very special aquatic mammal

The order Cetacea of mammals have separate lobes in the cerebral cortex connected through language processing, which could indicate communication skills superior to those of human beings. Can you imagine?

Whales and dolphins are so intelligent that it shouldn’t surprise us when they help out other living beings, such as in the following case.

Kind whale

Recently, a peculiar incident in the seas of Norway seized the headlines. A white whale was swimming around with a harness attached to the body. Locals suspect that it was a beluga spy trained by the Russian navy.

After being freed from the harness, the whale stayed nearby for some time and even got a chance to show its true kind nature. When Ina Mansika and her friends heard rumors about the “spy,” they went down to the water in the hope of spotting the creature.

Not only did the famous whale come to greet the visitors, but also helped Ina with a little problem.

I had forgotten to close my jacket pocket and my phone fell in the ocean. We assumed it would be gone forever, until the whale dove back down and came back a few moments later with my phone in its mouth!

Ina didn’t hesitate to share the video that proves the friendly nature of the animal and, of course, the comments didn't take long to appear.

@shelbyzrocknlocks:

@louiseharaz:

This whale steals the heart of everyone who has watched the video, and the authorities are working on a plan to move it to a sanctuary in Iceland. That would be a nice gesture towards a being that has shown to be so considerate, wouldn’t you agree?
