Historic Legend: Oscars Opening With Queen's Performance Gave The Audience Goosebumps

The 91st ceremony of the Academy Awards was opened with a very special presentation: a mini-concert by the band Queen, which this year has been on everyone’s lips because of the film Bohemian Rhapsody. The movie was nominated in several different categories such as Best Actor and Best Picture.

The guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and lead singer Adam Lambert performed some of the hits of the iconic band formerly led by Freddie Mercury, including We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions.

Some celebrities such as Javier Bardem and Lady Gaga were captured by the cameras while enjoying the show.

It should be noted that Mercury's biographical film received five nominations, of which it has won four: Best Sound Mixing, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Actor.

Rami Malek is the one who gave life to the legendary leader of the band and won the award for his role in the category Best Actor.
