Some people seem to have come to this world with a special mission. From time to time, inspiring stories of someone showing incredible love or kindness take over the internet. For example, you may remember the story of students who surprised their deaf custodian with a birthday song in sign language.
Another story that caught the world’s attention was of a woman who volunteered to donate a kidney to her ex-husband, even though they were no longer in a relationship. Would you be capable of such an act of kindness?
Recently, one more of these moving stories found its way to the internet. This time, the heroes are a young man and a puppy suffering from terminal cancer. Get the tissues!
Luciano Karosas, 21, met Thanos in a shelter for abandoned animals in Argentina. As soon as he learned of the dog’s condition, the young man did something no one expected.
Out of all other pets, Luciano chose Thanos to take home with him. His idea was to offer his new pawed friend the best comfort in his final days: a home, a companion, and care.
Thanos had already been rejected by four other families because of his disease: he had several tumors in the head, which deformed his skull.
The veterinarian gave Thanos a little over one month. He sought alternative ways to treat the dog, but all of them failed. Luciano does everything he can to keep his friend comfortable, pampered, and free of pain in his last days of life.
The story made a huge splash on the internet as Luciano shared his and Thanos’ routine. Every day, he receives hundreds of comments of admiration.
So nice of you adopting him!!! God bless you.
And you are an exemplary person.
Cheers! You are an angel for Thanos... Only the one who receives so much love, knows how they (puppies) are important in our life. May God bless you always and much health for your cute little friend.
It is impossible not to be moved by this beautiful and inspiring story of selfless love for others, isn’t it? Do you have a pet?
