His Noble Organization Has Saved Almost A Thousand Child Victims Of Trafficking Worldwide
Timothy Ballard is former US special agent. Now he helps child sex trafficking victims worldwide.
Using his government experience, Tim founded Operation Underground Railroad.
In an interview with speaker Tony Robbins, Ballard explained how hard it was to start the organization:
I had to do a lot of research on slavery and how to end people trafficking through history books, as it wasn’t as much of an issue as it is today.
According to the former special agent, he was inspired to start his mission after a child kidnapping case in Haiti.
The victim's father asked Tim,
Could you sleep at night knowing your son’s bed is empty?
The former special agent knew he couldn't rest until the boy was safe.
Three months later, he was able to rescue the boy. His organization, which was founded in 2013 and survives only on donations, has already rescued 990 victims and has helped lead to the arrest of more than 443 traffickers worldwide.
O.U.R. also helps kids recover and rehabilitates them by offering psychological support.
Ballard has authored several books aimed at educating the public about child trafficking.
Tim's accomplishments continue to inspire people around the world.
