Identifying

First of all, you need to know what kind of stain it is, because each type will require different cleaning. It is also good to know if the paint on the wall allows the use of cleaning products.

If the wall has been painted with a matte type of paint, carefully apply cleaning products and wipe with a damp cloth. Ideally, use a soft sponge with detergent, and a cloth to remove the product.

Contact stains

We usually lean on the walls with our hands or body, and with time, stains appear. To remove this kind of a stain, sprinkle some baking soda on a sponge and apply it with circular, gentle motions. Then, remove the excess with a soft cloth.

Switches

As any frequently used objects in the house, switches rarely stay clean for a long time. But in fact, there are not many secrets to their cleanliness. The main thing is to remember not to use water due to the contact with the electricity. Again, use baking soda, but now on a dry sponge. Then, wipe the rest of the product with a soft cloth.

Grease

Greasy stains are a bit more persistent and thus, require more effort. Mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with a small amount of warm water to form dough. Apply the dough to the fat stain and rub gently with a sponge.

Blood

It is very common to find blood stains on the walls, especially in the regions where flies and mosquitoes are common. You can stain the wall by killing an insect. This stain also needs special treatment – use a cotton swab with hydrogen peroxide to remove it. Don’t try to wipe it off with a cloth, because you’ll only spread the stain.

There are some paints that facilitate cleaning off simple stains, but we don’t always know how the walls have been painted. What you do know now is how to get the walls clean. So let your family have some fun without worrying about the walls.
