Sarah Ferguson Was Shunned From Prince William's Wedding. Why Did Prince Harry Decide To Invite Her?

Back in 2011, William and Kate left Sarah Ferguson off their guest list. It is believed that they did so following a number of scandalous incidences the duchess was involved in.

But now, she’s back into the royal fold!

The ex-wife of Prince Andrew was spotted attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials. Sarah rocked a navy skirt suit and accessorized it with a classic fascinator.

The duchess was all smiles as she was waving for cameras outside of the wedding venue.

Does this mean that things have changed?

In 1992, the duchess was photographed with another man. And in 2010, she was filmed offering to take money in exchange for access to her ex-spouse. Given all this, it’s clear why the royals didn’t want to see her at William and Kate’s wedding.

Yet, although Prince Philip, Andrew’s father, may never forgive her, Harry obviously believed his aunt deserved another chance. He is also close to Sarah's daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, which might be the reason he was so persistent with the idea.

Fergie will soon get back in the royal spotlight when one of her daughters, Princess Eugenie, will tie the knot with her long-term partner, Jack Brooksbank.
