The reality stars returned for season 6 of Chrisley Knows Best, including the youngest member of the family, Chloe Chrisley.

The adorable five-year-old hasn’t graced the TV screen much, but Todd Chrisley says she enjoys the filming process and wants to be involved.

He added that the little one plays a big role in the family, saying:

I say, 'God gives you what you never knew you needed' and we needed that. She has literally changed our lives in so many different ways. She's opened our mind to so many things that we didn't even know existed.

When asked about what he meant by 'things that we didn't even know existed', Todd clarified that Chloe, who is biracial, has been cruelly bullied because of her skin color.

We had never dealt with racism. We have learned that it's a very prevalent situation in this country. We learned that, unfortunately, the hard way with negative things that were said about her on social media.

Chloe is the daughter of Todd's estranged son, Kyle, who suffered from substance abuse issues. He lost full custody of her when Chloe was just six months old.

Despite that, all Chrisley’s family has a loving relationship with her. Todd said:

We made a conscious decision that she is our child, she is our family member, and we're not going to be a part of anything that's going to cause her to feel less than.

For his little granddaughter, the 49-year-old is ready to do everything. He’s now even trying to make amends with Kyle to involve him in Chloe’s life.
