Oprah Winfrey Will Run For President Under One Condition

There have been speculations about Oprah running for president. But the TV show host has made it clear that she has no intention of running. This is not the first time her name has been mentioned for a presidential bid.


Oprah Winfrey has enjoyed massive publicity in the span of her career. Even her life partner, Stedman Graham, has suggested that she may run for the top spot if the American people ask her to.

Oprah may run for president

The 2020 elections are around the corner, and pressure is mounting on Oprah. However, she revealed that only one thing could make her run for president. A definite word from God.

I went into prayer. God, if you think I’m supposed to run, you gotta tell me, and it has to be so clear that not even I can miss it.’ And I haven’t gotten that.


The clamor for an Oprah Presidency came after she presented a fiery acceptance speech at the 2018 Golden Globes. Oprah accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She brought some members of the audience to tears with her passionate words.


Oprah has always been passionate about people. She once said;

Nothing makes me happier than to see other people in their purest moments of joy. Sometimes, honest to goodness, I’m just sitting around thinking, “What could I do to make somebody feel really good today?

Well, there is one thing Oprah can do to bring millions of people joy. She can run for President of the United States.

President Trump invites Oprah to run against him

On February 19, President Trump lashed out at Oprah after watching her host 60 Minutes. He ended his tirade by brazenly inviting Oprah to run for president, so he can beat her.

In 1999, Donald Trump told Larry King that he would have Oprah become his VP if he was to run for president.

It is somewhat ironic that the same man would launch a vicious attack on Oprah.
