Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Encourage Young Girls To Study Science

Meghan Markle has always been big on issues that concern women and girls. And it turns out, Prince Harry is a bit of a feminist himself. Earlier in January while visiting Cardiff, Wales, Meghan confirmed this.

After 23-year-old Jessica Phillips told Meghan she admired her passion for women’s rights and feminism, Meghan replied, “He’s a feminist too, so there’s that.” And she was referring to Prince Harry.

Young girls should study science

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Millennium Point in Birmingham on International Women’s Day last week. They met with young girls, many of whom were interested in pursuing a career in the sciences.

Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are core areas of study that many young people and millennials are exploring.


While in Birmingham, the royal couple encouraged the girls to continue working hard in school, especially in the sciences.

The visit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is expected to help inspire a new generation of women in the sciences.


Welcome to the royal wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be inviting many people to Windsor Castle to witness the carriage departure at the royal wedding. According to the duo, they would like to engage the public as much as possible in the event.


Attendees will be selected from different regions of the UK. Preference will be accorded members of communities who have made some commendable contributions. In addition, 100 students from a local school in nearby Windsor will be invited.
