She Speaks Filipino! Meghan Markle Surprises A Fan In Edinburgh

A day before Valentine's Day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid a visit to the town of Edinburgh, Scotland. Their first port of call was the Edinburgh Castle. On arrival, they were greeted by the Band of the Royal Marines.

Also waiting to greet them was Cruachan IV. The Shetland pony is the official mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a moment to chat with the pony's handler and also pet it.

Meghan speaks Filipino to a fan

While on the visit, Meghan Markle took time to mingle with the waiting crowd. Furthermore, she shared a moment with a delighted fan where she actually spoke a bit of Filipino before moving on. The clip has since gone viral.

Fans of the royal couple are delighted that Meghan is very down to earth. In many ways, Meghan is likened to the late Princess Diana who was also loved by the people of Britain.

Like Princess Diana, Meghan will continue her charity work even after getting married. However, she will be obligated to join the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meghan gets a secretary

Meghan Markle has been officially assigned a secretary in light of her ever-increasing engagements. Amy Pickerill was a press officer at Kensington Palace before being redeployed. She now serves as the assistant private secretary in the office of Prince Harry.

Pickerill's duties include managing the schedule of the royal bride-to-be. In addition, she is responsible for all correspondence as well. She has already attended four events with Meghan Markle since her appointment.
