Adult actress Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, recently suggested that she had been threatened by President Trump’s legal team. At the forefront of these accusations is Michael Cohen.

Cohen is Trump’s longtime personal lawyer. He claims that he is not aware of any threats to Clifford. President Trump has refused to comment on the matter.

Clifford through her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, is bent on returning the $130,000 she received through a shell company started up by Cohen in 2016. This will make way for her to share her story about her alleged affair with President Trump.

$20 million lawsuit is in the work

President Trump’s lawyers may be well on their way to Clifford for up to $20 million. It is reported that each breach in her NDA has a charge of up to $1 million. Cohen has already filed the suit against Clifford through Essential Consultants, the shell company which he set up to pay Clifford.

However, Clifford’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, seems to feel differently about a possible lawsuit.

How can President Donald Trump seek $20 million in damages against my client based on an agreement that he and Mr. Cohen claim Mr. Trump never was a party to and knew nothing about?

The White House officials still insist that President Trump neither knows Clifford or has any dealings with her.

Scandal on air

On Marc 25, CBS plans to air a tell-all interview Clifford granted. The interview will show on 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper. Speculations are rife that President Trump’s legal team may seek an injunction to stop CBS from airing the interview.

However, CBS Head of News says this is unlikely. According to him, “conversations with attorneys” and “documents were provided” by Clifford and her team, ample evidence that absolves the network of any wrongdoing.
