The British legend stormed off stage after one fan tried to touch him as he sang. John was performing on stage at his Las Vegas residency show when he invited a group from the audience to join him in singing his hit ‘Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting’.

One of the fans from that group started to act disrespectfully towards the singer, repeatedly leaning over and trying to touch John and the keyboard. That made Elton to storm off the stage after shouting at the disrupter.

When the song ended, and the audience came back to their seats, the singer returned to the stage. Before performing the next song, he warned the audience:

No more coming on stage during Saturday Night, you fucked it up.

It’s been said that the fan who tried to touch John was quickly escorted from the show. The singer commented on the situation later:

A fan put his hands on the piano keys while I was playing and continued to do so even after I asked him to stop. He then proceeded to reach over the piano and try to take pictures, completely disrupting the performance.

John continued:

This guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show and so I let him know how I felt.

Earlier, Sir Elton John announced his retirement from touring. His last three-year tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, will start in in Pennsylvania in September 2018. It will feature more than 300 concerts across the UK and the US.
