“Billy Jack And Jean Together Again.” Delores Taylor Dies At 85 In Los Angeles
The famous Billy Jack movies of the 70s are hard to imagine without Delores Taylor, an actress who played one of the starring roles there. In fact, it was her together with her husband, Tom Laughlin, who created the character and developed it in the films: Billy Jack, The Trial of Billy Jack and Billy Jack Goes to Washington. Delores Taylor was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1972.
The news about her death at the age of 85 on March 23 came out of the blue. Her daughter, Teresa Laughlin, announced the sad news on Monday in the evening. It’s indicated the actress was suffering from dementia.
