Social Media Model Suffers From Partial Blindness After Surgery That Was Meant Only To Change Her Eye Color

Now, it’s become trendy to change the color of the irises with the help of a 30-minute eye surgery. However, not everyone knows it’s extremely dangerous, as the person who wants to have it done risks his/her eyesight. And to top all that, the procedure is nowhere near to being cheap - up to $9,000.

And as time passes and some people have already tested the procedure on themselves, the results have appeared to be not that bright. As a matter of fact, one Instagram model has recently shared her story. Nadinne Bruna is only 32, but she has lost her sight and claims it’s because of the procedure she had been done on her eyes. She resides in Miami but chose to do the surgery in Bogota, Columbia. She is depressed, because now, the model has the sight of a 90-year-old. Here’s what she says:

Before this surgery my eyes were completely healthy. They were in really good condition. I was so naive. Ever since this surgery I have had blurry vision. For about a year my eyes were constantly red and itchy. My pupils, they can’t adjust to light anymore so I’m very photosensitive now too. This surgery completely f***ed up my life. My vision damage is permanent, and I still have to have a cornea transplant and I have cataracts too.
