Once Jim Carrey Painted A Series Of Controversial Portraits On Trump, And It Garnered Mixed Reactions

Date May 9, 2019

It looks like actor Jim Carrey loves the Trump administration the wrong way. Once, the 57-year-old faced backlash after sharing his painting of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, on Twitter. And we should admit, the portrait is far from being called beautiful.

And then, the actor was after Donald Trump himself!

Over the last year, the comedian has been channeling his artistic side by devoting a series of paintings to the president of the United States. In one of the portraits, Carrey depicted Trump as a witch with orange-green skin and long pink nails. He captioned it:

And this is not the only portrait in his series either. It seems Jim has found a muse in the president.

Here's a look at some of Carrey's work, which he has shared on Twitter

He didn’t stop there. In fact, the actor makes anyone he dislikes look terrible in his paintings. Jim also painted pictures of other people to express his views and feelings.

It’s no surprise the actor got criticized by Trump’s supporters on Twitter. But there were also people who liked the artwork.

The actor has been drawing and painting since he was a child. And for several years now, the famous comedian has been making art that is as emotive as his work as an actor. He spends a lot of time in his New York art studio.

Jim Carrey is a  very talented person, isn't he? What do you think?
