The couple says this is not their intention. They constantly try to synergize with locals to achieve the best results in their work.

Why they give out most of their money

Many people have asked why Bill and Melinda seem to be giving away more of the money they make every year. Their answer is simple. They want to be able to make a change in the world and save lives in the process.

Bill earlier revealed that his children were not going to inherit a lot of his wealth. Instead, he encourages them to work hard and make their own way in life.

The couple has been working non-stop for over 18 years on several global projects. Even their children occasionally join them doing work for The Gates Foundation.

For the first time ever, the large-hearted billionaire gave a huge single donation to charity. Although specific information about the recipient has not been made public, the foundation is engaged in projects to improve global healthcare and reduce poverty.

The Gates Foundation is the largest private charity in the world with an estimated $40.3bn in funds.
