After the meeting, all five women shared group photos on their social media pages to impress their fans.

But later, Victoria Beckham said she wouldn’t be going on tour — and neither would the rest of the girls. She said:

I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour. We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming. But [fashion] is what I do.

And now, according to TMZ, all five members - Victoria, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner - have signed their contracts. Each of them will get £10million for new projects that might potentially include TV projects in China, a new talent show on television, endorsement deals, and a compilation album of their greatest hits.

The band's manager Simon Fuller, 57, is behind the venture. It is believed that Victoria was promised not to sing. She also signed for a limited number of reunion shows in the UK and the US. A source close to the band said:

Victoria and Geri agreed it would be impossible to be part of a fully-fledged tour because of family and business commitments. Now that she’s a top designer Victoria is concerned about singing but she wants to make money to pump back into her business.

The band’s debut single Wannabe became #1 in 1996, which made the Spice Girls an overnight sensation. Soon, they turned into the biggest-selling girl group ever, but in 2000, the girls split up.

The girls released a new song in 2007, Friendship Never Ends; nonetheless, a reunion tour did not happen. The band reunited to performer a medley of "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony.
