Meghan Markle Will Have A Bachelorette Party, But It 'Won't Be Wild'

Date January 23, 2018

The next royal wedding is just around the corner, and further details about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's special day are being revealed.

So far, Kensington Palace has already confirmed both the date and the location of the ceremony.

Meghan and Harry will tie the knot on May 19, 2018. They decided to hold the main ceremony at St. George’s Chapel – the exact same church little Harry was baptized at back in 1984.

Some of the details, however, remain uncertain. For instance, there were rumors that Meghan might actually break the royal protocol (again) and walk down the aisle hand in hand with her yoga instructor mom, Doria Ragland.

However, the Suits star's half-sister claims that their father, Thomas Markle, will attend the wedding and play his part.

Meghan's bachelorette party

Another question with no official answer, for now, is whether Meghan will or will not have a bachelorette party. As US Weekly recently reported, a source close to the 36-year-old Hollywood beauty insists that there will be a party, although it probably “won't be wild.”

“It’ll be unisex,” says the source. “Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music.”

It is also said that the Suits alum wants the night to be “a celebration of love and friendship,” and that we can “expect to see the usual faces.” In particular, some of Meghan's longtime friends, including Markus Anderson, Lindsay Jill Roth, and Jessica Mulroney, are expected to attend the special event.

Not the usual wedding

Even though Meghan and Harry try to keep the royal traditions and rules in mind while planning their big day, we can surely expect a few surprises from the gorgeous couple.

For instance, the lovebirds will not have a usual bridal registry. Instead of it, the soon-to-be-wed want their family members and friends to make anonymous donations to a charitable gift fund.
