Suspicious Letter With White Powder Sent To Donald Trump Jr. Contained Insults Addressed To The Eldest President’s Son

On Monday, Donald Trump Jr.’s wife Vanessa was hospitalized in a precaution after opening a letter addressed to her husband. The letter contained a strange white powder and a note.

According to NBC News, the note said:

You are an awful, awful person. I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV. You’re the family idiot. Eric looks smart. This is the reason why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve.

The note was in an envelope postmarked in Boston. It was delivered to the home of Donald Jr.’s mother-in-law in the morning. Vanessa, Donald Jr.’s wife, opened it up and discovered the white powder and a note.

Realizing that the powdery substance could be potentially dangerous, Vanessa ran out of the room in the panic, placed the letter and powder in a plastic bag and called 911. She and two other people, who were in the house at that time, were rushed to the hospital as a matter of precaution.

After the powder was tested in the lab, it turned out that it contained cornstarch. Donald Trump and his eldest son called the incident “disgusting”. The investigation of what happened still continues by Secret Service.

Ivanka Trump took to Twitter to express her reaction:

It is thought that the letter was not sent directly to the couple’s own Manhattan address for the reason that it was very likely to get through security.

Vanessa, a former model, and her husband, the eldest son of President Trump, appeared publicly on Tuesday morning for the first time since the frightening incident in a company of Secret Service agents.
