A popular Christian star Carman Licciardello finally ties the knot at age 61! He got married to Dana Licciardello. Just in case you do not know Carman Licciardello, please check this article.

Meet Carman Licciardello

Born Carmelo Domenic Licciardello on January 19th, 1956; he is popularly known by his stage name Carman. He is a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, dancer, actor, evangelist, television host, and rapper.

Carman was born in New Jersey and at a very tender age played drums in his mother’s band. Then as a teenager, he formed his own band. In 1980, just when he was 24-year-old, the singer released a custom album titled God’s Not Finished With Me, and between 1987-1989, Carman was named Charisma magazine readers’ choice for the favorite male vocalist.

After that, Carman has gone ahead and sold over 10 million records. In 2011, Carman was involved in a car accident, he was then taken to the hospital where he was examined with no spinal injuries found.

On February 14th, 2013, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Myeloma cancer, and the doctors said he only had three to four years to live. However, by early 2014, Carman announced that medical tests conducted reveal that his body is free of cancer.

His marriage to Dana

After Carman was certified cancer-free, he continued his musical career. With most of all his family not alive or either living in a distant place, at 60, Carman probably thought this was time to get married.

Prior to his wedding to Dana, Carman Licciardello has never been married. Despite his successful musical career, he never settled down with a woman. This most certainly explains why he can't seem to stop gushing over Dana, with whom he tied the knot on December 16th, 2017.

After the wedding, he just couldn't wait to share the news with his fans on Facebook and termed it a real miracle love story.

Today, I am 100% cancer free with a beautiful Godly wife and a huge family. I’m overwhelmed with family”, he wrote.

Carman religious background

Carman grew up in an Italian-American family where music was a normal daily routine. In his early 20s, Carman experienced a religious awakening while being at Andrea Crouch concert.

In 1993 on his ‘Music for Peace’ tour in South Africa, Carman set a world record attendance with over 50,000 at the show, and the following year, he packed over 71,000 fans into Texas stadium breaking his own record.

Despite health challenges, singer Carman is not only cancer free and healthy, he is married to a beautifully Godly wife and, in the process, gained a large family.

TUMOR SURGERY MOVED (again) to MAY 9TH: Ok Lord, why did John Denver get Sunshine on his shoulder but I...get a tumor ? Anyone ever get that "Why me Lord" feeling? They're now postponing surgery another day. It's making me think, "what do they know that I don't ?" I know it's unusual to hear guys talk about their health issues, but you all have been praying with me through this whole battle with cancer since February of 2013. So we are in it too deep now for me to suddenly clam up. Yes I confess, I'm trying to stay up and confident but I am worried. Because the Doctors gave me 3-5 years of remission time and I'm past my 4th year going into my 5th. Now they discover a tumor the size of a golf ball on my shoulder and need to take it out for a biopsy. I just don't have the same optimism this time, especially with these repeated delays. It's just the timing lines up with the end of my remission cycle. I start thinking "Maybe this is my last recording". I hope not, but just in case I decided to call this record "LEGACY". Maybe it's prophetic. I don't know. It's a bit discouraging because we're not even done recording yet and It's making me weary being the record company, the promotion company, the writer, the performer and the cancer patient all at the same time. So I'm asking for a special prayer for supernatural strength and unlimited faith. Not only for me, but for the people I plan to minister to. For the other hurting saints who need an evening of music and ministry to rejuvenate their faith in Christ and keep holding on. Because if I live, if the biopsy comes back cancer free and I can get back up on that stage, I promise you the devil will hate what I'm planning on doing. New souls will come into the kingdom. My testimony will inspire others fighting for their lives too and a new song will be in singing in someone's heart. And yes I still do have something to prove. And it's that the devil put cancer on the wrong Italian ! Please share this post. Please pray. Please help me finish Making new sounds for a new generation. @
