In her official statement granting assent to the marriage between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Her Majesty referred to Meghan simply as “Rachel Meghan Markle.” Previously, she referred to Kate as “Our Trusty and Well-beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton” in her own statement of assent. Raise any flags?

The truth of the matter is, the phrase “Our Trusty and Well-beloved”, is reserved for British citizens. Meghan is still American. So, no playing favorites on that count.

If you thought your last birthday bash was worth remembering, wait till you get the scoop on Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday celebration. This is no DJ event. The list of music greats who will be gracing the stage is enough to sell out stadiums.

Former Navy Seal and "It Wasn't Me" singer, Shaggy, will be making an appearance.

Also, on the list, there is Grammy Award nominee Craig David, iconic rocker Sting, and South Africa’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

British star Anne-Marie, pop star Shawn Mendes, and Kylie Minogue will also be performing. And the icing on the cake, Sir Tom Jones will also be at the glamorous event.

The British monarch announced the performers last Wednesday, and the concert will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on April 21.

Usually, Her Majesty prefers low-key birthdays. Last year, she visited the Newbury Racecourse with Princess Anne. No glitter and stage lights there. But it seems this year, the world’s most iconic great-grandmother is breaking all the stops.
