35-Year-Old British Actor Alex Beckett Suddenly Died. The Reason Has Yet To Be Found

The 35-year-old British theater and cinema actor Alex Beckett suddenly left this world. Reports on his death were confirmed by the theater executive producer Kate Packenham. The reason that might have caused the death is unknown at the moment.


Terrible loss

Born in Carmarthenshire, Alex mastered his theatre skills at Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. His most popular TV series that brought him much recognition was BBC comedies W1A.

Alex’s recent project was The Way of the World at the Donmar Warehouse. Unfortunately, the talented actor has passed away too early.

Paying tribute

His colleagues perceived the news with great sorrow, paying grief tributes to the deceased actor. His W1A colleague Jessica Hynes tweeted:

Alex Beckett was a wonderful, clever, kind, brilliant person – so glad to have known him, so sad he is gone.


His close friend Rufus Jones was also shocked with the terrific news:

Just hearing this awful news about Alex Beckett. He was such a warm-hearted and funny, funny guy. W1A felt like a big family and he was a face you couldn’t wait to see. My thoughts with his family xx

The joint statement of the Donmar’s executive producer Kate Pakenham and artistic director Josie Rourke stated:

We are deeply shocked by the tragic loss of our dear friend and brilliant actor Alex Beckett, a much-loved member of The Way of the World company. We are completely devastated by this terribly sad news.
