"Smallville" Stars Allegedly Helped Recruit Women To Sex-Slave Cult

Date April 2, 2018

How many sex-slave cults do you know? Have you ever heard of NXIVM (Nexium)? Hundreds of poor women fell victims of the cult’s leader, Keith Raniere. Reportedly, two main stars of TV show Smallville, Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack were the cult’s top-recruiters and brought women into it.

Smallville actors converting women

Smallville has lasted for 10 years. Not many series managed to achieve such success. Smallville’s actors starring in the series became unbelievably popular. This fact really came in handy for Kristin Kreuk, as she became a recruiter in NXIVM after meeting with Keith Raniere in 2005. Just by being famous and beautiful, Kristin converted hundreds of women, and even her co-star, Allison Mack. She left the cult in 2012 after allegations that Raniere had sex with minors.

Allison Mack joined the “sorority” in 2007 and, at first, worked as its publicist. Then, she joined Kristin and also played a lure to bring more victims due to their celebrity status.

Frank Parlato, the first one to break the story of women being exploited in NXIVM, opened up about Allison’s part in the cult:

She started as a slave and she became a slave master. Her nickname among defectors is ‘Pimp Mack.’

Charles Manson #2?

Keith Raniere was arrested in Mexico and charged with sex trafficking and running a violent sex-slave cult NXIVM. According to the FBI, he was brainwashing women, took part in horrible acts of branding and burning them, and sexually abused his “sex slaves.” Allegedly, Allison Mack is next to be arrested.

Keith claimed that every member of his sorority was “thriving, healthy, happy, better off, and haven't been coerced.” He also stated that the credo of NXIVM is non-violence. Doesn’t it all sound familiar? Women, Keith was staying with at the time of arrest, were chasing the FBI’s car in which the leader was being transported just like in Charles Manson’s story.

Here are some tips on how to avoid being converted.

1. Respond to door-to-door surveys and with care. Always specify what the survey’s purpose is. Same applies to any donations requests.

2. Be careful with groups you are joining. Try to find out as much information as possible about the group. Ask a question and Google it yourself.

3. Small organizations can be more dangerous than large ones. It is significantly harder for law enforcement authorities to trace small organizations.

4. If you feel unsafe or pressured in some group or organization, do not move away from your family and close friends. They can sometimes have a clearer view of the situation.
