A man who drinks too much on occasion is still the same man as he was sober. An alcoholic, a real alcoholic, is not the same man at all. You can't predict anything about him for sure except that he will be someone you never met before. ― Raymond Chandler, "
Unfortunately, one of our favorite actors has been recently spotted in a horrible motorcycle crash. It’s reported that the accident had happened last month, but no major details were revealed to the public.
The only thing we know that it was Ben Affleck who was riding the bike and, luckily, there were no other cars in the accident. It’s said the driver lost control of his motorcycle.
Another thing known to the public is that Ben was heading to the church to meet his children there.
Ben Affleck after the accident
However, people don’t stop talking it could have been intoxication that caused the accident. Nevertheless, no one knows what the current state of the actor is and how serious the accident was. Reportedly, he rushed to leave the place right after it. Even though he was wearing a helmet, the man might have had a head or neck damage that needed immediate scans.
Police don’t say he was intoxicated, but people don’t believe it and have their own opinion on the matter.
Ben Affleck’s addiction
The previous year was marked by a series of treatments in rehab for Ben Affleck. He has already done three rounds during that time. And it’s said he was supposed to check into rehab once again for the following round of treatment before the accident.
The reason for the return of his alcohol addiction might be the termination of his marriage to Jennifer Garner.
When you quit drinking, you stop waiting. ― Caroline Knapp, "
Still, it’s not a secret Ben was been receiving anti-alcoholic treatment since 2001. It’s been a problem the actor has been trying to cope with for years.
Along with Bill Gates, John Megrue, Scott Ford, and Admiral James Stavridis, I testified before the #Senate Appropriations Committee to highlight how U.S. foreign assistance - through smart, targeted public and private investments - is advancing our nation’s interests and creating opportunities in countries such as the Democratic Republic of the #Congo, and here at home.
Hopefully, the actor will recover both from the accident and his addiction very soon, and will please us with his stunning role in another movie.
