Christmas Photo From George W. Bush And His Family: It Is Super Sweet

Date December 28, 2017 17:25

It’s another Christmas for George W. Bush and his family. To mark the occasion, Laura Bush shared this delightful family photo on Twitter. It features her husband George, twin daughters Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager; also in the photo is Jenna’s husband, Henry Hager, along with granddaughters, Mila, 4, and Poppy, 2.

The family was all smiles when the picture was taken. Poppy looks the most excited as her smile was literally jumping out of the frame. Laura Bush shared the photo with the simple caption, “Merry Christmas from our family to yours,”

This year, the family was joined by a new furry addition. He also shared a spot in the photograph. His name is Freddy Bush, and he has been a member of the family since fall of 2016. And several followers had delightful things to say about Freddy and the family.

Speaking to PEOPLE after the adoption, George recollects how the cute dog became a Bush.

We went to the SPCA not intending to bring a dog back and they wisely put this little puppy in Laura’s sight and when Laura started petting that puppy, I knew we had us a new puppy.

Everyone looks to be loving the new pet. And several people took to Twitter to share their thoughts. Many were appreciative that the family decided to take in the dog.

Earlier in July, George Bush posed with Freddy for a photograph, just for the boys.

Happy Birthday! Looking good at 71 @georgewbush

He may not be living in the White House, but Freddy does look comfortable with the Bush family. We wish them a Merry Christmas.
