Joe Biden Presents His New Book About His Son's Battle With Cancer

It is always hard when some serious illness touches any members of one’s family. But the most important part is to encourage each other, stay together and never lose hope. Recently, Joe Biden tried to prove that to Meghan McCain, who is devastated by the diagnosis of her father, John McCain. Arizona senator has been treated from glioblastoma for a while and was hospitalized because of the side effects of the chemotherapy.
Joe Biden understands Meghan’s feelings as nobody else. His eldest son, Beau, died from this kind of brain cancer in 2015, and this year Joe released his book, Promise me, Dad, where he is telling the story of Beau battling this disease.
Joe Biden and Meghan McCain met on The View, and Meghan couldn’t help but broke into tears, discussing this topic:
I couldn’t get through your book. I tried. I think about Beau almost every day, and I was told that this doesn’t get easier, but you cultivate the tools to work with this.
Joe changed sits to comfort Meghan, held her hand and told everybody in the room that it’s very important to have hope.
You may remember when you were a little kid, your dad took care of my Beau. Your dad … became friends with Beau. And Beau talked about your dad’s courage — not about illness — but about his courage.
So there is hope. And if anybody can make it, (it’s) your dad.

Joe Biden also talked about breakthroughs in medicine that are made recently, and how they can be helpful in such situations.
Meghan was really thankful for these words; now, she is finding herself in a difficult place, coping with father’s health issues.
