On Thursday, November 30, Ivanka Trump joined her father, President Donald Trump, at the National Christmas Tree Lighting which took place at President’s Park near the White House.

The First Daughter brought along her husband, Jared Kushner, their three kids and her half-sister, Tiffany, to reunite with the family for the big event. She witnessed Melania flipping the switch and illuminating the tree with blue lights and bright silver stars while her father wished Americans a Merry Christmas.

Ivanka's style

The daughter of the United States president chose to attend the national event in a classic, yet stylish outfit. The 36-year-old was spotted rocking an elegant $2,150 double-breasted cream coat by Altuzarra.

Her long blond hair was pulled into a ponytail and a black headband with pearl detailing completed her clean, sleek look.

Her husband Jared and her kids, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore also looked quite dashing.

She attended the event to support her family as, since she converted to Judaism in 2009, she no longer celebrates Christmas. She and her husband are also raising their children as Orthodox Jews.

Just because they don't celebrate Christmas did not stop Ivanka from standing there with a big smile on her face as she watched the festivities go on.

The National Christmas Tree

The lighting of the National Christmas tree can be classified as one of the oldest American traditions seeing as it is in its 95th year. The tree was first lit on Christmas Eve in 1923 by the then President Calvin Coolidge in front of more than 3000 people.

Even though this particular event is considered as the official lighting of the National Christmas tree, there is a lighting ceremony that is just as famous. We are talking about the massive tree that takes its dignified spot in front of the Rockefeller Plaza. This tree was lit on November 29 and thousands of people were there to witness the event.

What an incredible night! A special thank-you to last night’s performers and everyone who celebrated with us on the Plaza.
