Dream Job: Ahead Of Wedding, Meghan Markle Got An Official Aide, Amy Pickerill
The preparation for the long-awaited royal wedding is in full swing! Since Meghan Markle’s royal schedule gets tighter each day, she got a personal assistant. In fact, it was a decision of the royal family to assign an aid to the former actress.
What do we know about a right-hand woman?
The assistant to the bride-to-be of Prince Harry is Amy Pickerill, and you might have spotted this blonde lady in the couple’s photos from their recent visit to Edinburgh. Back then, she held gifts given by Markle’s fans.
But now, Amy has a lot of things to take care of. In particular, she is in charge of scheduling Markle’s trips and visits as well as working with correspondence.
Earlier, Pickerill worked as a senior press officer at the Kensington Palace. And prior to that, she held a position at the Royal Bank of Scotland. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2007 and received a postgraduate diploma in journalism in one of London's universities.
There are only 3 months left till the royal nuptials, so Meghan should be grateful she has a helping hand now. It is a well-known fact that the wedding will take place on May 19. But the couple has revealed the exact time just recently.
The wedding ceremony of the queen’s grandson and his beloved will begin at 12 p.m. Afterwards, the pair will take a carriage procession to allow as many Brits as possible to enjoy the unbelievable atmosphere of this special day.
And then, the newlyweds will return to guests to celebrate.
