Keith Urban Shares His CMT Trophies With The Fans

Keith Urban has overcome many things in the music industry. From his self-titled debut album in 1991, this singer, songwriter, and all-round prolific musician has carved a niche for himself. His debut was well received in Australia, but he eventually moved to the United States.

However, he started out performing with The Ranch, playing session guitar. The group went on to record one album with Keith that saw two singles making the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Love for the fans

This fun-loving country singer always shows his fans loads of love. In a surprising move, Keith decided this year to show appreciation to his millions of fans in a very special way. After the 2017 CMT, Keith decided to give away all the trophies he won for Social Superstar of the Year,’ ‘Video of the Year ‘(“Blue Ain’t Your Color”), ‘Collaborative Video of the Year’ (“The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood), and ‘Male Video of The Year’ (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”).

Well, he didn’t exactly give it to them to keep forever. The trophies are to remain with the fans for a period of one year. In this video, Keith is making the presentation to his unsuspecting fans, and their reactions are priceless.

The fans were thrilled to receive the awards, and we can imagine them being placed on wall and shelves. In his career, Keith has scored 21 number one hits. His ripCORD World Tour in (2016) featured Carrie Underwood in New Zealand and Australia. In all, the 2016 lap of the show raked in over $33million. Here's to an even better 2018.
