Legendary Country Music Artist, Lari White, Lost Her Battle With Cancer At 52

On January 23rd, 2018,  it was reported that Lari White, the famous American country music artist and actress, died at the age of 52. This news came as a huge shock to family, friends, and fans.

It was not a secret that Lari White was fighting cancer, but nobody ever thought that the tragedy would come so fast.

Lari White became popular after winning the TV contest “You Can Be a Star” in 1988. Since that time, she has released numerous albums, one of them (“Wishes”, 1994) has even become golden after 500,000 copies were sold.

Lari White was also highly involved in acting, she appeared in such movies as Castaway, Country Strong, etc.

In November 2017, it was revealed that Lari White suffers from progressive peritoneal cancer. Several months later, on January 19, 2018, her mother, Yvonne, announced that Lari is now under hospice care.

Unfortunately, Lari White has lost her battle with this terrible disease. Yvonne assured the public that her loving daughter passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family members. Her husband and children took care of her until her last moment; they never left her alone.
