Breaking News! British Comedian Sir Ken Dodd Is Dead

On Friday the 9th of March, veteran British comedian Sir Ken Dodd married the love of his life, Anne Jones. The couple had been life partners for the past 40 years. The wedding took place in the same house that the comedian was born in over 90 years ago.


Two weeks prior, the comedian had been on admission at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He was being treated for a severe chest infection.

Sir Ken Dodd passes on

Sadly, the comedian has died two days after the wedding, on Mother’s Day. It is believed that he suffered a regression after spending six weeks in the hospital receiving treatment.


His publicist, Robert Holmes, confirmed the incident in a statement. He also paid tribute to the late comedian saying, “To my mind, he was one of the last music hall greats.”


After his release from the hospital, Sir Ken Dodd was still in good spirits. He even promised to be back on the road in no time. He was knighted by the Queen last year in recognition of his contributions to entertainment and charity.
