Unfortunately, Clooney declined being interviewed by young journalists from the Parkland high school newspaper. However, he sent them a letter on behalf of himself and Amal. In it, he wrote,

Amal and I are 100% behind you and will be marching in DC.

In addition, Clooney added that he did not want the march distracted by external influence. As such, he felt that declining the interview was better.

Furthermore, he said the students are doing their best to make sure America is a safe place to live. In closing, Clooney added, “Amal and I stand behind you, in support of you, in gratitude to you. You make me proud of my country again”.

March for our Lives

The March for our Lives had one message, “not one more.”

March for our Lives is expected to galvanize American voters before the upcoming elections in November. The idea is to encourage voters to replace congressmen who failed to support the call for stricter measures on gun control in America.
