Treatment was a success, and Julia is in high spirits

Last month, Julia came out of chemotherapy treatment for the last time. And the results were even better than expected. The Veep star has been overwhelmed with joy. She went on Twitter to thank her doctors for their great work.

Julia picked up two wins at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Production of the Veep came to a half due to Julia’s treatment but soon, it will be resumed.

Celebrities unite against cancer

With increased public awareness about breast cancer, more celebrities are coming out with their cancer stories and also showing support for other sufferers. In 2008, Christina Applegate was diagnosed with cancer. She opted for a double mastectomy.

Both women are now living cancer free and continue to support the fight against breast cancer.
