Princess Mette-Marit Of Norway Appears In Public For The First Time After Her Surgery

Date April 6, 2018

Recently, Princess Mette-Marit of Norway underwent a minor surgery. She had to cancel her public appearances due to an undisclosed health issue.

The Crown Princess stopped posting on her Instagram as well. For the past month, she has been on a social media hiatus despite being regularly active there before.

This week, however, she appeared in Mexico along with the entire Crown Prince Family. It's assumed that they spent Easter weekend there. The Crown Princess seemed in good health and looked beautiful on the recently shared picture.

Their Royal Highness is married to Prince Haakon. The couple has three children Marius, Princess Ingrid, and Prince Sverre-Magnus. The family is set to return to Norway some time this week.

The Royal Court's calendar has not yet been updated about the Crown Princess' public events in the near future. However, she had plans to visit Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, in April with Prince Haakon.

The three countries just celebrated their 100th anniversaries of independence, and the royals intended to highlight the importance of Norway's cooperation with its northern allies.

We hope to see Crown Princess Mette-Marit make her official public appearance soon.
