So Cute! Nate Berkus And Jeremiah Brent Share First Photo Of Their Baby Boy Oskar

Date April 6, 2018 15:57

Happy parents, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, recently shared news about welcoming their second child in the family. Little Oskar Brent-Berkus was born via surrogate, just like the couple's first baby girl Poppy, who is now 3 years old.

Now, the famous interior designer and his husband shared the picture of their newborn in a joyous family portrait.

Nate and Jeremiah also revealed the origin of their baby boy's name. They gave Oskar the middle name of Berkus' late partner Fernando Bengoechea, who tragically passed away in 2004 due to infamous Sri Lankan Tsunami.

The couple wanted to tribute Fernando in some way, because he's a crucial chapter of Nate's life. “We have always honored Fernando’s memory in our relationship. He’s a part of our love story," said Jeremiah, whose idea it was in the first place.

They noted that Poppy also knows about Fernando and has seen pictures of him. They want their daughter to know about him and will make sure to tell their children everything about the important person in their parents' lives.

Big day at @unistudios with our big girl. @jeremiahbrent
